Elmley nature reserve wedding
From the moment I arrived at the entrance of Elmley nature reserve on Sheerness island I was blown away, and after a 10 minute slow drive across the reserve past amazing wildlife with wild sweeping views, I knew this was going to be a amazing day and an instant favourite venue. Elmley is a unique destination wedding venue, and its chilled out landscapes perfectly matched my couple Hannah & Lewis and my shooting style. A match made in heaven!
With guest camping on the reserve the night before in bell tents and others in the gorgeous cottages the day started early with a first for me - yoga and a fresh water dip!
A STUNNING WEDDING MORNING

CEREMONY
The Farmhouse garden, sweeping down to the Reserve with stunning views across the marsh, and The Linhay, a charming open barn set within the Courtyard, with rustic stone walls and wild flowers. Perfect for this natural outdoor ceremony, drink reception and outdoor dancing.
COCKTAILS & PHOTOS
Elmley Nature Reserve offers the perfect backdrop, with the incredible meadow, private beach & wilderness views, - it really was the perfect match for nature loving Hannah and Lewis. This really was the most stunning but also laid back affair and I was in my element!
THE BARN, THE SPEECHES AND THE FUN!
Kingshill Barn is a rustic barn on a grand scale. With its wooden beams draped with twinkling lights and the huge window overlooking the Reserve is the star of the show, perfect for feasting before dancing the night away. There were beautiful species spaced throughout the day , all outside and all relaxed and heartfelt. A live country duo played before the main meal and after into the night with everybody joining in the fun.
