When Morgan enquired about a spring maternity shoot at jumped at the chance. Although never having been before the prospect of capturing the spring cherry blossom and various fauna and flora was an opportunity not to be missed.
Morgan was very nearly 8 months into her pregnancy on the last day of March the year when we made the trek over to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew.
Morgan is a fashion and beauty blogger so posing comes fairly naturally, and Jason soon got into the swing of things on this relaxed and inform shoot.
A lot of maternity shots are far to cheesy for my liking so a wanted a nice cool vibe where the bump and mum are the star, with dad keeping his clothes on at all costs!.
It was lovely and warm, the perfect spring shooting day, with some cloud cover on occasion but also direct light the work with. All shots and natural light, no flash here.
I never ask my clients to say cheese!
The blossom was amazing in part of the estate and being able to see the victorian plan house in the background added context.
In the end we had about 160 great shots! Too many to show here but you can view the full gallery on the client page or on this link: https://andrewmarkwadephotography.pixieset.com/morganandjason-maternity/
